PelagicIQ is an independent FishPilot AI product in development for recreational offshore anglers. The idea is simple: tell us what you want to catch, and we’ll help you understand where to start.

The initial focus is the water anglers leave for from San Diego, Oceanside, Dana Point, Newport Beach, and Catalina Island.

Planned early species coverage includes:

Ocean data can be hard to interpret when you’re planning a particular trip. FishPilot AI is being built to translate available environmental information into understandable context for a target species and departure area.
Recommendations are planned to show what supported them, when observations were collected, and where information is missing. They are estimates, never guaranteed catches or certified navigation instructions.
PelagicIQ will launch independently. Any future use of proprietary fishing reports would require an authorized agreement; a Fishdope integration is not available today.
